Oooohh-Weeee!!  It’s literally 24°  & damn cold outside right now in the Melrose Park area; and once again we’re out here on the grind… in the cold! We got an early start this morning to conquer a full schedule…..
   
Today we’re scheduled to complete 4 separate repairs for the same client- but on 2 different vehicles.  Specifically…  he has a 2005 Nissan Maxima that needs a new serpentine belt; and a new ground wire needs to be re-ran to the battery. He also has a 2003 Chevy Trail Blazer SUV that needs it’s oil pump & the transmission cooling lines replaced.  
   
  So, our Lead Service Technician David is On-Site in the local area NOW taking care of this ‘Auto Repair & Mobile Mechanic Service’ call.
    The 1st repair that David finished was the replacement of the serpentine belt; then he moved right into the custom re-installation of the ground wire going to the battery on his 2005 Nissan Maxima.

Once these 2 repairs were finished on this sedan; he started to work on the replacement of the faulty oil pump in the ’03 Trail Blazer.  This job is the most time consuming repair out of all 4 of the repairs that he’s doing today.  But, he’s just about done installing the last bolt now…..

    The oil still has to be drained & changed in order to close out this specific repair, which is a short task.  So far so good.

After he’s finishes closing out this repair- he can then get to work on replacing the transmission cooling lines before the afternoon is over!  Despite the freezing cold, I’d say the day has flowed smoothly & has been quite productive.
