On this cold afternoon we have an appointment booked for an Auto Repair / Mobile Mechanic Service Call in Cicero- on a client’s 2001 Kia Sportage 4×4.
Today also brought about this winter’s 1st snow fall, making it trickier to work outside. But not deterred- David is handling this repair even as the snow begin thickening up!
When it’s cold like this & the snow blankets the area, having working heat in your vehicle becomes very important. Our client’s Kia is having issues with the heat; it isn’t blowing out the vents, and the fan isn’t engaging when the dial is turned to high OR low speed settings.
So, David just finished performing an inspection & some troubleshooting and has determined that a blower motor and the blower motor’s ballast resistor are burnt out & need to be replaced. He’s now in the process of removing, and replacing both parts so this client will have his heat working today!
….Can’t wait to see the smile on his face once it’s fixed!
