Another last minute Auto Repair Request came in earlier this afternoon from a referred client. So, our Lead Service Technician David is On-Site in the Northlake, IL. area today performing a Auto Repair Assessment on this 2001 Hyundai Sonata. This assessment is to determine the cause of a major fuel smell & leak; and why it’s not starting.  Again,  these issues can harbor a major or a minor repair; or even a set of repairs.   
After, looking over the vehicle it became very apparent what were causing the problems the client was experiencing.  David found that it just needs some minor repairs. Specifically, the vehicle’s fuel pressure hose to the injector rails is dry rotted & damaged; which is where the fuel is leaking from.  Additionally, he also discovered that the battery post is quite corroded & calcified; thus causjng the car not to start up.
As always, he’s discussed his findings with the client; and they quickly made the trip the grab the parts he needs to get it fixed & started today. 

So, David is NOW in the process of replacing a fuel pressure hose and a new battery post on this Hyundai– all while it’s still drizzling & as the sunlight dwindles away.
So, as our weekend ‘work day’ comes to a close for today- I’d have to say that it has been a very wet and windy; yet a rather productive day.
